How do I post an advertisement?

Posting advertisements is very easy. Once you create a seller account (60 seconds) you can then begin adding equipment. It's a simple step-by-step process. Listing a piece of equipment takes about 2-3 minutes.


Why won't my picture upload?

This may be due to the file size of your photo. If you have trouble you can either contact support for help, or visit a site like www.resizeimage.org to easily reduce the size of your image.


Is my information safe?

Yes. We will not give out your personal information to any individual or company under any circumstances.


How do I know when my listing expires?

You will be sent a notice 4 days before your ad will expire. You will have the option to renew at that time.


Is it free to post an advertisement?

Do I have to have a PayPal account/use PayPal?

Payments are currently made on-line through PayPal's secure server. You are not required to have a PayPal account to use this service. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can simply pay through PayPal using your credit or debit card.


Do I have to become a member?

You do not have to become a member in order to browse this site or find great used equipment deals. However, sellers are required to have an account before they can post.


What do I do when an item sells?

To avoid unwanted calls and emails about your sold item, we recommend that you log into your account, click on "modify your listings," then delete the listing.


What if I want to make changes to my listing?

You may change the details or photos of your ad listings as many time as you like throughout your advertising period. There is no charge to change your listing. Simply login to your account, navigate to the "My Tools" section, browse your listings and when you've found the one you want to change, click the "modify" button. it's that easy!


Can I find out how many people have viewed my listing?

Yes. Login to our account and your overall number of views will appear in "My Account - Statistics" of your account page. You may also visit the "My Tools" section to see the number of views each ad has received, along with the current status of the listing.


Do you offer an unlimited listings account?

Yes. It is possible to get an account that charges a flat monthly fee and allows unlimited listings. Please contact us for reasonable monthly packages via email support@icecreamtrader.com or by phone 877.788.6611 x81.
